Dwarf Ambarella, June Plum

Dwarf Ambarella, June Plum, is a very productive plant.

Spondias dulcis (syn. Spondias cytherea), known commonly as ambarella, or june plum is an equatorial or tropical tree, with edible fruit containing a fibrous pit. It is known by many other names in various regions, including golden apple, golden plum, cas mango, etc.

The tree is easily propagated by seeds, which germinate in about 4 weeks, or by large hardwood cuttings, or air-layers.

- Spondias mombin, L. Common names include yellow mombin and hog plum (English-speaking countries).

- Spondias purpurea, L. Common names include purple mombin and red mombin (English-speaking countries).
